Hands-on Computer Workshop
C. Tracking Progress on Tasks and Assignments- Tracking Time-phased Actual Work and Actual Cost
- Rescheduling Incomplete Work
- Updating a Baseline (re-baselining a Project Plan)
D. Viewing and Reporting Project Progress- Identifying Tasks That Have Slipped (SV)
- Examining Task Costs (CV)
- Examining Resource Costs
E. Measuring Performance with Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and Earned Schedule (ES)- Set View to Earned Value (MS Project)
- Set Up Optima’s EVA or ES Worksheets
- Use of Ken’s EVA 2006 software
- Set Up Ken’s EVA Trend Worksheet
F. Getting Your Project Back On Track- Change Control System – set up “Change Control” project activities (e.g., approved “Change Orders”)
- Crashing and Fast-Tracking – Re-baselining the Project Plan
- Preventive and Corrective Actions (to Address Risks, Issues and Problems) – the “Unplanned” Activities
- Other “Unplanned” Activities and Tasks
